Welcome to Littlefield High School

Updated letter 03/23/3030

Parents/Guardians of Littlefield High School Students,

Littlefield High school would like to thank you for your patience and understanding while we’ve worked on a plan to best serve our students.  District staff have been, and are, working on a plan to not only keep your child/children safe, but to also provide meals and instruction to them for the duration of time that they are unable to attend regular classes.  Breakfast and lunch will be distributed in a drive through process.  Student meals may be picked up on the South side of the High School.   We will open the weight room over-head door in the circle drive near the band hall.  Tuesday, breakfast pick up is from 8:30-9:30 and lunch pick up is from 12:00-1:00.

BEGINNING WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25, AND BEYOND, LUNCH FOR THE DAY AND BREAKFAST FOR THE FOLLOWING DAY WILL BE PROVIDED AT ONE PICKUP TIME:      11:30 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.

On Monday, March 23rd, Littlefield High School staff will begin to develop instructional packets for each core subject by course to distribute to students.  Packets will be available for pick up beginning Wednesday morning, March 25, at 11:30 in conjunction with meal distribution.  Staff will be positioned in the circle drive, south of the band hall.  Packets will cover one week’s worth of work and instruction.  Students are expected to complete all assigned lessons within each packet and return them to school each Monday morning at 11:30. Please be extra careful when handling instructional packets, meal packets and always follow safe hygiene practices.

Upon return of the completed work, the next week’s packets may be picked up.  This procedure will be followed until students are allowed to return to school.  Littlefield staff are aware that these instructional packets cannot take the place of live instruction with your child’s teacher, but we are confident that this plan will keep student academic progress on target.

Please continue to check the LISD website and campus Facebook page for new information.  Feel free to contact Littlefield High School at 385-5683 with questions or concerns.

We appreciate your cooperation, and your continued support of Littlefield High School and LISD.

Stay Safe & Healthy! Littlefield High School
